Our Microneedling procedure begins with a thorough consultation to assess your skin's needs and goals. The process includes the following steps:
1. Consultation & Skin Preparation: We evaluate your skin to customise the treatment based on your desired outcomes. The skin is then numbed and prepared with a solution to ensure comfort throughout the procedure.
2. Microneedling Treatment: A handheld device with tiny needles creates micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the natural healing process and boosting collagen production.
3. Application of Serums: Based on your specific skin concerns, we apply a tailored serum post-treatment to penetrate deeper into the skin through the microchannels created, enhancing overall results.
4. Post-Treatment Care: You will be provided with a post-treatment care plan to ensure optimal healing and maximise the benefits of the treatment.
The procedure takes 60-90 minutes, and for the best results, multiple sessions are recommended.
Most clients experience only mild discomfort during microneedling, as a numbing cream is applied beforehand. This results in a slight tingling sensation during the procedure. The depth of the treatment can be adjusted based on your skin’s needs and condition, making the experience tailored and as comfortable as possible.
The number of treatments required depends on your individual skin concerns and goals. Typically, a series of 3-6 treatments is recommended for optimal results, with maintenance treatments as needed. Treatments are usually spaced 4-6 weeks apart to allow the skin to heal and regenerate between sessions.
After microneedling, you may experience some redness and mild swelling, which can last from a few hours up to 3 days, depending on the depth of the treatment. During the recovery period, it's essential to avoid sun exposure and apply a repair mask regularly to aid the healing process and maximise results.
